34 Hours with Reegan

Practice the 80 Set Sequence every weekday.

  • 6:00am – 7:00am

24 Hours with Jano

Asana practice followed by lecture.

  • 7:00pm – 10:00pm

(9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5)

27 Hours with Reegan

Asana practice followed by lecture.

  • 7:00pm – 10:00pm

(9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/7)

27 Hours with Merrin

Asana practice followed by lecture.

  • 7:00pm – 10:00pm

(9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8)

18 Hours Any Class

Attend the second class of your choice at 80.

40 Hours Mixed

4-hour workshops including:

  • Body Stories with Reegan Lessie
  • Advanced Short Form with Deb Radloff
  • Bandha, ujjayi breathing, and inversions with Liza DiGaetano
  • Yoga Art project with Jackie Bergeron
  • Mythansana with Theresa Austin
  • Anatomy with Pamela Minix
  • Proper alignment with Stefanie Gaines

Personal Practice

9 hours of personal practice need to be completed for RYT 200.

Personal practice can be completed during and after the course of teacher training.

Observation, Assisting, Teaching

28 hours need to be completed for RYT 200.

Observe 5 hours for RYT 200 of any class.

Assist an instructor for 10 hours for RYT 200.

Teach for 13 hours for RYT 200.

O.A.T. can be started during the 9 week course, but will be up to the student to complete. Student must meet with the instructor to coordinate participation beforehand.

10 Hours Karma Yoga

Volunteer time at the studio cleaning, sign-in, etc. It is highly recommend getting as many Karma Yoga hours as possible. The minimum 10 hours are a buffer for unexpected times students are unable to attend a class or for missing personal practices.

 

Upon graduating from yoga80 Teacher Training your new skills will include:

  1. More advanced yoga practice
  2. Better understanding of the history and philosophy of yoga
  3. Greater comprehension of proper alignment in Asanas (yoga postures)
  4. How to design a sequence of postures which flow properly
  5. How to integrate Pranayama (breath) with Asanas
  6. How to guide students through a sequence of Asanas

Pricing

80 Teacher Training cost is $2,500 (RYT 200-Hour or RYT 300-Hour). Price includes tuition, books, study binder and unlimited yoga practice in the studio. Student membership cost will be suspended for 3 months during training. Once teacher training is finished, memberships will be reinstated. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required by September 1, 2012 to secure a space. Payment plans are available upon request.
