y80/60, 75 or 90 SET Sequence
The y80/60, 75 or 90 SET Sequence is a 60, 75 or 90 minute, set sequence, vinyasa class designed to help students learn a solid foundation of yoga poses and practice a sequence they can use anytime, on their own. If you are an intermediate or advanced student the SET also has challenging options and inversions. Recommended for new students.
Why do all the well known yoga styles incorporate a Set Sequence of poses? The answer is, “through repetition the mind is able to quiet”.

The y80/60 or 75 Flow is a 60 or 75 minute, free flowing class with structure of course, but not too much. Yoga postures are taught to increase flexibility and strength. Beginner, intermediate and advanced students welcome.

The y80/90 Traditional Dharma is a 90 minute, traditional Sri Dharma Mittra yoga class. Class begins with a short, relaxing chant followed by a vinyasa practice, moving from pose to pose using breath. Class ends with savasana, a stress reducing, relaxation meditation laying on the back and then another short, tranquil chant.

The y80/90 Rollout & Flow is a 90 minute class that starts with 30 minutes of Foam Roller Therapy, followed by an hour of free flow vinyasa. You may attend the whole class, just the roller session or come for the 60 minute vinyasa if you don’t want to roll out.
Using Foam Rollers enhances balance, body awareness, muscle re-education and muscular flexibility. Foam rollers offer many of the same benefits as traditional massage and enable you to massage deep into your muscles, including self-myofascial release. Fascia is a connective tissue that binds your muscles, bones, nerves, and joints. Over time or after injuries, your fascia form soft tissue adhesions, which can cause trigger points and tightness.

The y80/60 Candlelight & Chamomile is a great class, when you are ready to wind down for the day. Enjoy 60 minutes of a relaxing, free flow, vinyasa class and have a cup of chamomile tea afterward. Beginner, intermediate and advanced students welcome.

In the y80/30 Stress Reducing Meditation Class we practice Yoga-nidra, a sleep-like state of relaxation which will reduce tension, anxiety and bring calmness. Lay on a comfy blanket for 30 minutes and chill out! All students are welcome to this class whether you are young, mature, injured or healthy!
The drop-in is only $10. If you pay and take the class right before the meditation class, you can attend this class without any extra charge.

The y80/60 Donation Yoga At Beacons Beach is a 60 minute, vinyasa class which explores a variety of poses including sun salutations, balancing poses, backbends, twists and hip, heart and shoulder openers. Beacons Beach is located at the very west end of Leucadia Blvd. Park your car and walk down the path and meet at the lifeguard tower. Bring a towel, water, sunscreen and a yoga mat is optional. Suggested donation is $12.00

yoga80 is happy to announce “Adaptive Yoga For Adults With Autism”. Reegan Lessie, owner of yoga80 has a special connection to adults with autism as two of her siblings are diagnosed on the autistic spectrum.
Brandi Mell has a B.A. in Psychology and is BCaBA eligible. Brandi currently works in a therapeutic setting with clients diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Brandi has completed the yoga80 “200 Hour Teacher Training”, is RYT 200 Certified and with Reegan’s assistance will be guiding students through these yoga classes.
Classes will focus on basic yoga postures meant to help coordinate muscle movement and proper breathing techniques to calm the nervous system. In time, students will become better in touch with their bodies, develop more control over breath and have fun socializing.
