Vinyasa is the term used to describe yoga which flows between postures in a system of breath and movement.

 

80 60/Set

The 80 60/Set is a 60 minute, set sequence, vinyasa class designed to help students learn and practice a sequence they can use anytime – even outside of the studio. The sequence features sun salutations, grounding poses, balancing poses, backbends, twists and relaxation.

80 75

The 80 75 is a 75 minute, vinyasa class which builds on the 60 minutes classes to provide more time for students to practice a variety of inversions, arm balances, meditation, and breathing exercises.

80 90

The 80 90 is a 90 minute, vinyasa class which offers even more time for intermediate and advanced students to deepen their practice with more advanced variations of poses and yoga theory.

80 90/Rollout

  • Level: Beginner, intermediate and advanced

The 80 90/Rollout is a 90 minute class that starts with 30 minutes of foam roller therapy, followed by 60 minutes of vinyasa. Using Foam Rollers enhances balance, body awareness, muscle re-education and muscular flexibility. Foam rollers offer many of the same benefits as traditional massage and enable you to massage deep into your muscles, including self-myofascial release. Fascia is a connective tissue that binds your muscles, bones, nerves, and joints. Over time or after injuries, your fascia form soft tissue adhesions, which can cause trigger points and tightness.

80 60/Candlelight & Chamomile

80 Adaptive Yoga for Adults with Autism

80 is happy to announce “Adaptive Yoga For Adults With Autism”. Reegan Lessie, owner of 80 has a special connection to adults with autism as two of her siblings are diagnosed on the autistic spectrum.

Brandi Mell has a B.A. in Psychology and is BCaBA eligible. Brandi currently works in a therapeutic setting with clients diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Brandi has completed the 80 “200 Hour Teacher Training”, is RYT 200 Certified and with Reegan’s assistance will be guiding students through these yoga classes.

Classes will focus on basic yoga postures meant to help coordinate muscle movement and proper breathing techniques to calm the nervous system. In time, students will become better in touch with their bodies, develop more control over breath and have fun socializing.
